A friend of mine, Jessica Judges, and her now fiancé, Winston McCall (of Parkway Drive fame), have a very sleek and gorgeous home in the heart of Byron Bay. I visited recently and I just had to take some snaps. When you walk in it is fresh and simple, with a beautiful modern white leather lounge and a sleek TV cabinet. Moving through the house it is clear that the couple have eclectic style with some amazing feature pieces, beautiful wooden furniture and great quirky accents. Jess and Winston just got engaged after 11 years together. They had an early dinner in Mullumbimby (at Milk and Honey pizza, which they and I can testify is the best pizza ever) on their anniversary and then a walk up to the iconic Byron lighthouse.They set up a camera to do a self-timed photo with a light torch. Jess unknowingly stood by while Winston drew a picture, and low and behold when they went to look at the whoto he had drawn the words Marry Me in the air which the slow-shutter picked up. Jess nearly died out of shock - what a beautiful and romantic story and they deserve all the happiness in the world!
